About Jyotish
Dating back as early as ~4000 BC, ancient Indian mystics used their perceptive powers to interpret the patterns of movements of light through the sky; this science is known today as the study of Jyotish, or Vedic Astrology.
Jyotish, means "the light" because it is used to illuminate life, providing both practical and spiritual insight.
The horoscope is a map of the heavens at the time and place of birth that shows the positions of the planets and their relation to the newborn child. These mystics, steeped in the knowledge of the Vedas, also developed various techniques of healing, meditation, and yoga.
